Job Duties:
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently;
- Must be able to operate all pieces of equipment within the department;
- Follow all 1st piece inspection processes according to the inspection requirements;
- Work with minimal supervision in a team environment;
- Must have great people skills;
- Develop and maintain a good relationship with co-workers, internal and external suppliers, promoting a teamwork environment;
- Perform pre- startup inspections;
- Participate in ABS and support the ABS principles;
- Perform work on the computer daily, manage daily activities using Microsoft Office programs, have excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.);
- Facilitate L1 meetings;
- Possess good delegation skills;
- Reward and recognize good performance for the team;
- Write and train on department specific work instructions;
- Provide management with data when required for his/her areas of responsibility;
- Order supplies;
- Use JDE for routing, reporting, and problem resolution when errors occur;
