Experience with IBM MQ on mainframe z/OS, including queue sharing groups, CF structures, Sysplex, and integration with CICS or other mainframe components. Knowledge of related IBM tools like IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB), DataPower, or WebSphere Application Server. Familiarity with mainframe tools (JCL, SMP/E, RACF) and concepts if applicable. Certifications such as IBM Certified System Administrator - MQ V9.x. Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience as an IBM MQ Administrator. Proven expertise with IBM MQ versions 9.1 and 9.3 (or higher), including installation, configuration, clustering, and administration. Strong knowledge of MQ concepts: queue managers, local/remote queues, channels (sender/receiver, cluster), triggers, dead-letter queues, and publish/subscribe. Proficiency in operating systems such as Linux/UNIX and Windows scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation. Experience with performance tuning, logging, tracing, and error resolution. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise environments. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.15 years full time education
