Qualifications:
- Graduate of ECE, COE, or EE.
- At least 3 - 5 years of PCB Design/Layout work experience
- Understanding of PCB DFM and DFA
- Understanding of PCB Fabrication Process is an advantage
- Knowledgeable in basic electronics, circuit analysis, transmission line principles, signal, and power integrity
- Knowledgeable in circuit and layout simulation and analysis is an advantage
- Knowledgeable in PCB CAD tools; Experience with Cadence System Capture and Allegro is an advantage
- Very good team player and can work under pressure
- Highly motivated, confident, and energetic
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Having CID or CID+ certification (or equivalent) is an advantage
Brief Job Description:
The PCB Layout Engineer is responsible for the Layout and Design of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) used for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), Customer Evaluation and Engineering boards; Practice PCB DFM, DFA and best design practices and Apply board level simulation. He/She will be under the Global Hardware Development Group.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
