Spring Island Club, is a beautiful private club located in Okatie, SC. The Club is currently looking for a part-time Outside Services/Cart Attendant for our Golf Shop. This position provides superior customer service to our members and their guests while they are outside the clubhouse. Courtesy and prompt service are necessary at all times.
Duties include:
- Daily set up and closing of the practice facilities.
- Cleaning and maintaining the fleet of golf cars and member owned golf cars.
- Removal of member and guest golf bags from their cars and placing bags onto the club’s golf carts.
- Provide members with thoroughly cleaned and stocked golf carts.
- Provide periodic preventive maintenance and records on golf cart fleet.
- Set up range, keeping the chipping green free of golf balls.
- Maintain an adequate supply of cleaned range balls.
- Completely clean practice facility upon closing.
- Clean member and guest clubs upon completion of play.
- Properly store clubs in bag storage.
- Daily clean all staging and cleaning areas upon closing.
- Assist members and guests as they depart the facility.
- Conform to dress code and grooming expectations and abide by the employee handbook policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as well as nights during tournaments, if required.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds throughout the day.
