Outside Hardware Specialist is responsible to manage and coordinate the receipt, verification, and preparation of outside hardware for production, ensuring compatibility, accuracy, and timely processing to support operational efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and check in hardware upon delivery.
Verify received hardware against purchase orders and completed takeoffs.
Kit hardware for production use.
Request RGA paperwork from vendors and return hardware for credit when necessary.
Conduct hardware compatibility reviews.
Track Kawneer-purchased hardware orders with vendors to confirm ship dates, transit times, and expected receipt dates.
Prioritize hardware check-in based on delivery schedules.
Operate or train to operate a forklift.
Communicate and resolve issues related to received hardware with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide training to the Front End department on hardware compatibility and applications.
Ensure employee safety and health in all tasks.
Perform other duties as needed to meet business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
3 years of hardware experience
3 years of fabrication experience
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (employment eligibility verification required; no visa sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of hardware experience
5 years of fabrication experience
Experience with AutoCAD
The base salary range for this role is 65K-75K. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location
