Outpatient Nurse (LPN) – Behavioral Health
Up to $62,500 in State Incentives
This position may be eligible for the Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program, offering up to $12,500 per year for up to 5 years. Candidates must apply for funds by June 30th, and be hired prior by August 1st. Eligibility, funding, and final award amounts are determined by the program and are not guaranteed.

The Impact You’ll Make
Your day-to-day will be a dynamic mix of clinical expertise and client advocacy:
- Clinical Coordination: Triage client calls, assess urgency, and provide crisis intervention when it’s needed most.
- Medication Mastery: Administer long-acting injectables (LAI), manage prescription refills, and navigate the prior authorization process to ensure clients get their medication without delay.
- Program Support: Play a key role in our prescription management programs by tracking vital labs, urinalysis, and GeneSight testing results.
- Client Advocacy: Help clients navigate medication assistance programs and coordinate with external partners to keep care seamless.
- Team Collaboration: Partner closely with providers to maintain a therapeutic environment that prioritizes recovery and continuity of care.

Qualifications
What You Bring to the Team
- License & Certification: An active LPN license in good standing and a current BLS certification.
- Clinical Judgment: Strong triage skills and the ability to recognize when to escalate client concerns or crisis situations.
- Operational Excellence: High attention to detail with EHR documentation, lab tracking, and time-sensitive follow-through.
- Communication: A professional, empathetic approach when working with clients, pharmacies, and insurance providers.
Preferred (But Not Required) Skills
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, or substance use treatment.
- Familiarity with GeneSight testing.
- Knowledge of insurance appeals and client medication assistance programs.
