About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire an Analyst or Associate to join our Structured Investments Separately Managed Account (“SMA”), Outcome Driven Strategies (ODS) Distribution team to focus on national sales support. This position will assist senior ODS Product Specialists in an internal sales capacity and work closely with clients to further drive product adoption, strategies awareness, and revenue growth for iCapital’s separately managed account of structured notes. This individual is strategic, entrepreneurial, hands-on, and able to help other sales personnel manage multiple clients as they develop new relationships.
Responsibilities
- Prospect RIAs and other advisors by proactively reaching out via email and phone to schedule Teams and Zooms and in-person meetings for ODS Product Specialists.
- Conduct 50+ outbound calls a day.
- Assist Product Specialists in building out in-person meetings for road shows.
- Update monthly marketing materials working with Compliance, Legal and Marketing teams.
- Assist with follow-ups and client requests as required.
- Collaborate with marketing team on email campaigns, webinars, industry events, etc.
- Collect and maintain competitor analysis in addition to learning the structured note SMA marketplace.
- Articulate ODS strategies and compare them with competitors once licensed.
- Identify referral opportunities.
- Learn financial markets and portfolio strategies.
- Utilize contact management systems to capture information, schedule follow up activities and manage pipeline.
- Prepare for and pass the necessary licenses, if not previously completed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Experience within the sales and client service industry, financial services industry is a plus
- Excellent relationship, follow-up, and communication skills
- Personable and have an interest in a client facing role
- Knowledge of the financial services industry
- Motivated and trustworthy team player
- Highly organized and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of private markets, structured products, and options is a plus
- Series 7 (FINRA) license is preferred
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $75,000, in addition to being commission eligible. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees.
