Job Summary:
As an Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through high-volume outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
You will identify and engage prospective financial institutions, qualify their needs, and schedule meetings for our sales team. This role is a critical entry point into Alogent’s sales organization and is designed for individuals looking to develop into quota-carrying outside sales roles.
Success in this role requires consistency, resilience, and a strong work ethic, with a focus on daily activity, pipeline creation, and continuous improvement in a performance-driven environment.
This role requires a high level of daily activity, including consistent cold calling and outreach to prospective clients.

What Success Looks Like:
- Consistently meet or exceed outbound activity targets (calls, emails, social touches)
- Generate qualified meetings that convert to pipeline for sales team
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM updates
- Demonstrate progression toward handling more complex sales conversations
Responsibilities:
- Outbound Prospecting: Execute high-volume outreach via phone, email, and social channels to generate new meetings and sales opportunities
- Lead Qualification: Engage prospects to understand business needs, qualify fit, and position Alogent’s solutions
- Lead Generation: Identify and research target accounts and key decision-makers within financial institutions
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions and progress with leads in the CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies and messaging.
- Follow-up: Consistently follow up with leads to move them through the sales funnel and ensure a seamless handoff to the sales team.
- Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:
- Comfortable operating in a high-activity environment with daily outbound call and email targets
- Coachable with a desire to learn, receive feedback, and continuously improve
- 1+ year of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (SaaS or financial services preferred)
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients.
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g. Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
- Self-Motivated: Highly motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Working Conditions:
This is a hybrid position and will require a minimum of 4 days in the office. Additional days in office may be required based on operational needs.
