OTC Researcher - Digital Assets

Through its overseas affiliates, IMC provides liquidity and trades on many cryptocurrency exchanges and DeFi protocols. IMC Zug is currently looking to expand its OTC team, which builds the algorithms that support IMC's trading activities with direct counterparties. Note that this is an onsite role in Zug, Switzerland, with very limited flexibility for working from home; there is however flexibility for the role to be in our other international offices on the medium-longer term.
Your Core Responsibilities:

• Design and implement low-touch and algorithmic trading strategies for OTC crypto market.
• Research and iterate trading strategies in order to maximize PnL.
• Monitor and manage execution and market risk in real-time during trading sessions.
• Work with operations, compliance, and technology teams to ensure seamless end to end flow.

Your Skills and Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in trading / researching and developing crypto trading strategies. Ideal candidate will have experience in OTC low-touch trading and the full trade lifecycle.
• Background in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Team player and self-starter, with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong development skills in Python.
• Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to learn quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
