OT Integration Engineer

We are seeking a skilled OT Integration Engineer to support real time data management, governance and coordinate new integrations onto Noble’s OT Data Platform. You will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of the most efficient, scalable data integration architectures in compliance with Noble Sensor Governance and Standards. This role serves as the primary coordination point across Noble IT teams, vendors, clients and external support teams. Managing OT data projects end to end, defining source-to-target integration patterns, developing business application data models, and delivering real-time dashboards and reports that turn OT data into actionable insight.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in real time data, time series database, operational technology.
• 2+ years of proven hands-on strong experience with AVEVA Pi System infrastructure (including Pi Data Archive, Asset Framework, PiVision, Pi AF SDK, Pi WebAPI and CONNECT).
• Experience with industrial data systems, operational data flows, OT and IT integration, industrial edge and cloud platforms.
• Proven experience in project management, real time data projects and coordinating project activities with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong technical fluency across edge to cloud architectures, authentication, observability, cybersecurity, and operational data systems, including troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of networking and OT and IT concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewall rules, VPNs, DMZ design and network segmentation.
• Strong hands-on experience with AVEVA Pi System infrastructure (including Pi Data Archive, Asset Framework, PiVision, Pi AF SDK, Pi WebAPI and CONNECT).
• Knowledge on concept and development of data models/digital twin concept
• Working knowledge of industrial data protocols and interfaces such as OPC-UA, WITSML, Modbus, MQTT, REST APIs, historians, or industrial data platforms.
• Experience with data management, governance, data quality concepts such as latency, completeness, frequency, validity, mapping, units of measure, and real time data workflows.
• Experience working with vendors, partners, engineering teams, implementation teams, support teams, and customer facing stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to develop business solutions and frameworks.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA systems is a plus.
• Knowledge on coding and programming logic (e.g. Python, C#, REACT, Node .js and .NET).
• Experience with AI/ML is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Coordinate new integrations onto the OT Data Platform, serving as the central point of contact across vendors, Noble IT teams, and external support teams from request intake through onboarding, testing, and go-live.
• Coordinate the design and implementation of the most efficient data integration architectures including data models, source-to-target mappings, protocols, and pipelines in full compliance with Noble Governance and Standards.
• Lead OT data projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Analyze logs, validate end to end data flows, isolate root causes, and drive technical issues to resolution across complex distributed systems.
• Create reference architectures, data flow diagrams, validation plans, integration checklists, and technical decision records.
• Serve as a facilitator between the OT Data Platform and business departments to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Provide training and support to business users on OT data tools and applications.
• Develop business application data models and notifications to enhance user engagement with tools.
• Design and develop front-end real-time dashboards and reports to visualize OT data and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders involved in data integration and application projects.
• Experience leveraging AI assisted tools to accelerate troubleshooting, architecture reviews, integration design, documentation, and solution validation while applying sound engineering judgment to validate results.
