We are seeking an OT Cybersecurity Engineer to protect and enhance the security of Operational Technology environments, including Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA systems, and critical infrastructure.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering, IT, and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls that ensure the availability, integrity, and safety of OT systems while supporting business and operational objectives.
This position is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in OT/ICS security, industrial networks, risk assessment, and cybersecurity controls within regulated or mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls for OT/ICS environments.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to cybersecurity threats impacting OT systems.
• Conduct OT risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
• Implement network segmentation, firewalls, intrusion detection, and secure remote access for OT networks.
• Support incident response activities related to OT cybersecurity events.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams to align IT and OT security practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, and ISA/IEC.
• Develop and maintain OT cybersecurity policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Support security requirements for new OT projects, upgrades, and system integrations.
• Provide guidance and awareness to stakeholders on OT cybersecurity best practices.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity, industrial network security, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, and DNP3.
• Strong understanding of OT network architecture, segmentation, and secure remote access.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and monitoring tools in OT environments.
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity standards and frameworks, including IEC 62443, NIST, ISA/IEC, and ISO 27001.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews for industrial systems.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Professional certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, CISM, or IEC 62443 certification.
• Experience in critical infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, utilities, or safety-critical environments.
• Familiarity with SIEM, SOC operations, threat detection, and incident response in OT environments.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across cybersecurity, engineering, IT, and operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
