OSP Engineering Division Manager

Job Description

Cyient Inc. has an opening for an OSP Engineering Senior Manager position located in our Erie, PA office, or in the Philadelphia or Pittsburgh metro areas. You should have significant OSP design experience with both copper and fiber networks, experience overseeing and growing customer accounts, and supervisory experience leading OSP engineering teams. You will report directly to the Senior Delivery Director in Arlington, TX.

Ideal candidates will live near the Erie, PA office and be willing/able to report to the office daily. A remote/WFH or Hybrid schedule may be arranged. Experience with Verizon systems, processes, and standards a definite plus.

You Will:

• Provide leadership to local OSP engineering teams and other global Cyient engineering and delivery teams working on multiple projects.

• Oversee and coordinate with team members to achieve maximum success and efficiency in delivery of field surveys, engineering design, drafting and other OSP project related disciplines.

• Identify and deploy necessary resources to accomplish work while managing the stability of the project and customer account.

• Review, understand, and explain multiple telecom deployment technologies (FTTP, FTTN, HFC, CATV, Small Cell, etc), telecom terminology, and the various telecom infrastructure environments (aerial, buried, underground, wireless).

• Communicate project and account status to senior management, customers, and other partners.

• Develop and strengthen relationships with our customers and partners.

• Pro-actively identify potential project risk factors, communicate these with our partners, and work with team members to address and resolve them.

You'll Need:

• Minimum 10 years of OSP Engineering required.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership/supervisory position.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Right-of-Way, easement or local permitting requirements.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer-facing position, overseeing the deliverables, timelines and financial health of customer accounts.

• Flexibility for travel up to 25% is required.
