Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant
Full-Time | $18–$25/hour
Locations: Florissant & O'Fallon
We are hiring an Orthodontic Assistant / Dental Assistant to join our growing orthodontic practice. This is a full-time dental assisting position ideal for someone who enjoys chairside assisting, patient education, and working in a fast-paced orthodontic environment.
What You’ll Do
- Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures
- Place, adjust, and remove braces, brackets, and bands (as directed)
- Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and patient progress photos
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare
- Maintain accurate patient records in EMR
- Coordinate with clinical and front office teams; cross-train as needed

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant (preferred)
- RDA or CDA certification (preferred)
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented mindset
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the day
- Manual dexterity required
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (occasionally more in patient-care situations)
