This role will primarily focus on contributing to the generation of a pipeline of carbon projects in Europe.
Job Description:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with project owners, such as forest management companies, landowners, bioenergy facilities, etc.
- Identify new business opportunities following the guidelines of regulations, local policies, and main carbon project registries and standards.
- Participating in origination conferences
- Collect data from reports and webinars for analysis
- Work with our back-office team on contracting, NDA, admin processes, etc.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Forestry, Climate Change or similar.
- Must currently be authorized to work in Spain.
- At least 2 years of experience in the carbon market with an understanding of methodologies and standards
- Attention to detail
- Communicates effectively
- Understanding of European legislation and regulations (CRCF, GCD, among others) is a plus
- Master's degree in Climate Change, Environmental Science or Business Administration is a plus.
