We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Orientation & Mobility (O&M) Specialist to provide services within a school setting in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This is a part-time, in-person opportunity supporting students who are blind or visually impaired by teaching safe travel skills, independent navigation, environmental awareness, and mobility techniques that promote success both inside and outside the classroom.

Skills Required
- Active Orientation & Mobility Specialist (COMS/ACVREP) certification or state equivalent
- Current New Mexico PED (Public Education Department) Certification
- New Mexico licensure (or ability to obtain expedited New Mexico licensure)
- Ability to work in-person 7-10 hours per week (part-time)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- School-based experience
- Candidates licensed in another state encouraged to apply (expedited licensure 2-4 weeks)
