As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist – Microsoft 365 Migration.

Position Summary 

We are seeking a mid-level Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist to support enterprise transformation initiatives driven by Microsoft 365 migration and modernization efforts. This role will help plan, coordinate, and execute change activities that enable user adoption, minimize disruption, and improve business outcomes across solutions including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and Azure B2B collaboration capabilities. 

The ideal candidate has practical experience supporting technology-driven change in complex organizations and understands how to translate technical change into business-ready communications, stakeholder engagement, training, adoption strategies, and end-user support readiness. This person should be comfortable working alongside project managers, technical architects, engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to drive successful transition and sustained adoption. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the development and execution of organizational change management strategies for Microsoft 365 migration and collaboration modernization initiatives.  

  • Assess change impacts across business units, user communities, support teams, and leadership stakeholders.  

  • Develop stakeholder engagement plans tailored to impacted audiences, leadership groups, champions, and support organizations.  

  • Create and maintain change artifacts including communication plans, impact assessments, readiness assessments, adoption roadmaps, stakeholder matrices, and feedback mechanisms.  

  • Draft clear end-user communications for migrations, feature rollouts, policy changes, cutovers, and post-deployment support.  

  • Design and coordinate user enablement materials such as quick reference guides, job aids, FAQs, training decks, adoption campaigns, and knowledge content.  

  • Partner with technical and project teams to understand migration schedules, solution dependencies, risks, and user-facing impacts.  

  • Support rollout and adoption of Microsoft 365 workloads, including:  

  • Exchange Online migrations and mailbox-related change impacts  

  • SharePoint Online modernization and document collaboration changes  

  • Microsoft Teams adoption for chat, meetings, collaboration, and integrated workflows  

  • Power Platform adoption, governance awareness, and business process transformation  

  • Azure B2B and external collaboration changes affecting guest access and cross-tenant sharing  

  • Coordinate user readiness activities before major deployment milestones, including pilot groups, champions networks, training sessions, and support transition activities.  

  • Gather, analyze, and report adoption metrics, stakeholder feedback, training participation, and organizational readiness indicators.  

  • Identify resistance points, adoption barriers, and business risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.  

  • Support development of post-go-live reinforcement plans to drive sustained usage and process adoption.  

  • Collaborate with service desk, operations, and support teams to ensure support readiness and smooth transition into steady-state operations.  

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Communications, Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.  

  • 3–6 years of experience in organizational change management, user adoption, communications, training, or transformation delivery.  

  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals.

  • Hands-on experience supporting change initiatives tied to Microsoft 365 migration or digital workplace transformation.  

  • Experience developing communication materials, training collateral, stakeholder plans, and end-user adoption content.  

  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 services and the end-user/business process impacts associated with:  

  • Exchange Online  

  • SharePoint Online  

  • Microsoft Teams  

  • Power Platform  

  • Azure B2B / external collaboration solutions  

  • Experience conducting stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and readiness activities.  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for executives, managers, and end users.  

  • Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams in a fast-paced project environment.  

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and dependencies.  

  • US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise migrations or phased rollout programs.  

  • Familiarity with structured OCM methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter, or similar frameworks.  

  • Experience working in regulated, security-conscious, or highly matrixed environments.  

  • Experience building champions programs, pilot programs, or business readiness networks.  

  • Familiarity with service transition, IT support models, and operational readiness planning.  

  • Exposure to governance and compliance considerations associated with Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms.  

  • Prosci certification or similar change management training is a plus.

At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $95,000-$144,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
