We are seeking an Order Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for working with Eplan to develop standard schematics and connection report lists to support manufacturing. Also responsible for product cost and assuring that the design intent and customer specifications are transferred into a quality, manufactured product that meets corporate objectives and the customer’s demand rate. Additional duties include managing projects with the ability to delegate tasks, determines project flow, define critical paths, and resolve issues that may impede achieving project deadlines.
Qualifications include:
- BSEE, BSEET engineering degree and at least 5 to 7 years of work related experience in the electrical/electronic engineering discipline. Excellent understanding of electrical theory and drive technology with the ability to act as a business consultant for interfacing drive I/O logic with human machine interface (HMI).
- Thorough understanding of UL508A and Type 1, 12 and 3R enclosure solutions.
- Excellent working knowledge of electrical and mechanical industry codes and how they relate to drive and motion technology.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, set priorities, and resolve issues expeditiously to meet the customer demand rate.
- Excellent computer skills with a fundamental understanding of Microsoft suite of programs.
- Ability to create electrical schematics and assembly drawings using the business CAD software package.
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with associates at all levels of the organization.
