Job Summary: A skilled Oracle R12 OAF (Oracle Application Framework) Developer to design, develop, and maintain Oracle R12 applications using the OAF framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), strong knowledge of Oracle Application Framework, and expertise in customizing and extending Oracle R12 functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development: Design and develop RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).

Customizations: Customize and extend Oracle EBS R12 modules such as Financials, SCM, Oracle EBS R12 forms and pages using OAF, ensuring compliance with best practices, and HRMS.

Integration: Collaborate with functional and technical teams to integrate OAF applications with other Oracle modules and third-party systems.

Code Review & Maintenance: Review existing code for quality and compliance with best practices; provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing OAF applications.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all OAF developments, customizations, and enhancements.

Performance Tuning: Optimize performance of OAF-based applications by analyzing and tuning queries, page loads, and backend processes.

Testing: Work with QA teams to test and debug new features, customizations, and upgrades before deployment.

User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, addressing any issues related to OAF-based applications.

Training: Train other developers and technical team members on OAF best practices and development methodologies.
Oracle APEX Development Responsibilities:

Design and develop interactive APEX applications to extend Oracle EBS capabilities.

Create dashboards, reports, and custom workflows using APEX.

Integrate APEX with EBS and other external systems.

Maintain APEX environments and perform performance tuning and enhancements.
Required Skills:

Oracle EBS R12: Extensive experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12, including modules like Financials and Supply Chain.

Oracle Application Framework (OAF): Strong experience in developing and extending Oracle OAF applications.

PL/SQL: Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL for writing stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

Web Technologies: Familiarity with HTML, XML, JavaScript, and JSP.

Oracle Forms/Reports: Experience in working with Oracle Forms and Reports.

Workflow & Personalization: Understanding of Oracle Workflow, Personalization, and AME (Approval Management Engine).

Performance Tuning: Knowledge of Oracle performance tuning techniques.

Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).

Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:

Minimum 8 years of experience working with Oracle R12 E-Business suite, including OAF development, customizations and extensions Strong experience with integration technologies and web services (SOAP, REST, WSDL).

5+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 technical development experience.

2+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX.

Proven ability to develop and troubleshoot OAF pages and APEX applications.
Preferred Qualifications:

Oracle Certifications related to Oracle EBS or Oracle Development.

Experience with Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework) and Oracle Apex.

Knowledge of SOA Suite: Understanding of Oracle SOA Suite and integration with Oracle EBS.

Experience in working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Skills Required

  • Minimum 8 years of experience working with Oracle R12 E-Business Suite
  • 5+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 technical development experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX
