Title: Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence Configurations- contractor

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Configuration Analyst to support the implementation of FDI for a client that has already deployed Oracle Cloud ERP.
This role is execution-focused, responsible for configuring and validating FDI environments under the direction of the FDI Functional Lead.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Analytics / FDI and will strictly adhere to a no-customization, out-of-the-box (OOTB) implementation approach, ensuring rapid deployment and alignment with Oracle best practices.
Job Responsibilities:
Configuration & Setup:
Execute configuration activities for Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence, including:
Enabling and configuring prebuilt subject areas
Setting up standard dashboards and KPI frameworks
Managing data pipeline configurations and refresh schedules
Follow defined implementation playbooks and guidance from the Functional Lead.
Data Integration & Validation:
Support integration of data from Oracle Fusion ERP into FDI.
Perform data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Troubleshoot data discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately.
Testing Support:
Prepare and execute system integration testing (SIT) scenarios.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by:
Preparing test data
Documenting results
Logging and tracking defects
Security & Access Setup:
Configure role-based data access and security within FDI.
Validate that user roles align with business requirements.
Documentation:
Maintain configuration documentation, including:
Setup steps
Test cases and results
Known issues and resolutions
Ensure knowledge transfer materials are complete and accurate.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the FDI Functional Lead and onshore stakeholders.
Follow direction on design and ensure strict adherence to OOTB standards.
Provide status updates, highlight risks, and communicate blockers proactively.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related discipline
3–6 years of relevant experience in:
Oracle Analytics (FDI, FAW, or OAC)
Oracle Fusion ERP reporting or data environmentsHands-on experience in configuration and testing roles in Oracle implementations
Key Skills & Expertise:
Technical / Functional Skills
Working knowledge of:Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) or Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW)Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) dashboards and reporting
Basic understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP data domains (Finance, Procurement, etc.)
Familiarity with:
Data validation and reconciliation techniques
Standard analytics subject areas and KPIs
Execution Excellence
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured configuration processes
Ability to work within a strict no-customization framework
Experience executing tasks based on predefined design specifications
Soft Skills:
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work in a distributed/onshore-offshore delivery model
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience supporting FDI or FAW implementations
Exposure to post-ERP analytics deployments
Familiarity with Oracle quarterly update cycles
Experience working in global delivery or large-scale transformation programs
