Job Summary:
M&S Consulting, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking an Oracle Extension Developer with VBCS skills will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom extensions and applications within the Oracle Cloud environment. This role requires a strong understanding of Oracle Cloud applications, VBCS, and web development technologies to enhance and extend the capabilities of our Oracle solutions. This is a remote position starting immediately in the beginning of August, 2024.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop Custom Extensions: Design, develop, and implement custom extensions and applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) to meet business requirements.
- Integration: Integrate VBCS applications with Oracle Cloud services, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Integrate Oracle Cloud applications with other enterprise systems.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Cloud applications and extensions.
- Maintain and update existing Oracle Cloud applications and extensions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle Cloud technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing applications using Oracle VBCS.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud applications and architecture.
- Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
