Job Summary:
M&S Consulting, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking a full-time, long-term Developer for Oracle ERP Integration, to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Oracle ERP systems and other software applications, databases, and systems within an organization. The role involves ensuring seamless dataflow between the ERP system and various other systems. This is hybrid role, with the on-site portion being in Alexandria, Virginia.

Job Responsibilities:

• Integration Design: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and business processes. Design integration solutions that connect Oracle ERP with other systems.
• Interface Development: Develop custom interfaces, connectors, and integration components to facilitate data exchange and process automation. Implement integration using Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle SOA Suite, or other relevant middleware technologies
• API Development: Create and manage APIs for Oracle ERP to enable communication with external systems. Design and develop RESTful or SOAP APIs for data retrieval, update and synchronization
• Data Transformation: Perform data mapping and transformation to ensure data consistency and format compatibility between Oracle ERP and integrated systems. Handle data conversion tasks and manage data quality during integration.
• ETL Processes: Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move and transform data between Oracle ERP and other data sources.
• Error Handling: Implement error-handling mechanisms to capture, log and address integration errors and exceptions. Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues to ensure data consistency.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize integration processes for performance and scalability, including batch processing and real-time data synchronization. Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the integration workflows.
• Security and Authentication: Implement security measures to protect data during transmissions and ensure secure authentication and authorization between systems.
• Testing and Validation: Plan and execute integration testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation for integration solutions, including design specifications, data mapping and API documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years industry experience, 3+ of which should be in Oracle Cloud projects.
• Proven experience as an Integration Developer with a focus on Oracle ERP.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud data structures and data migration tools.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, business analysts and stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at client site.
