Job Description

Oracle Support DBA Role:

Oracle Production/Support Jr DBA 3 to 5 years

Ideal candidate will possess/ have experience with:

· Minimum 3-5 years of experience

· Bachelor Degree Required

· Oracle certifications preferred.

· Oil & Gas setting is highly desirable.

Job Description:

Large scale Oracle database environment team supporting all production and non-production Oracle databases.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Assisting in the administration of a large Oracle Database area including the following main environments:

Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g, and 12c versions of the Oracle RDBMS servers running on MS Windows, Red hat Linux, Sun Solaris, and IBM-AIX operating systems.

Oracle RMAN, Oracle Data Guard/Standby, Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c/11g Grid Control, Oracle VM 3.2

SAP related: ECC 6.0 EhP5, BI 7.3, SRM 7.0, PI 7.1, Business Objects 4.0, GRC 5.3, Solution Manager 7.1, and EP 7.0, Hana and/or CLM 7.0

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree Required

This candidate must have good communication skills, and needs to be able to work well with an Oracle/SQL DBA team of 12.

Additional Information

  1. Good comm skills are a big priority
  2. Duration: 6 month (reoccurring) Contract
  3. Interview Process: 1 Technical phone Interview then 1 Face to Face Interview because this will be a long term engagement

Skills Required

  • 3-5 years Oracle DBA experience
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Experience with Oracle 8i/9i/10g/11g/12c
  • Experience with Oracle RMAN and Data Guard/Standby
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (11g/12c) and Oracle VM
  • Experience on MS Windows, Red Hat Linux, Sun Solaris, and IBM-AIX
  • Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively within an Oracle/SQL DBA team
  • Oracle certifications
  • Experience in Oil & Gas environment
  • Experience with SAP ecosystems (ECC, BI, SRM, PI, BusinessObjects, GRC, Solution Manager, EP, HANA, CLM)
