Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of Oracle databases. This role involves both maintenance and development of the database environment, ensuring high availability and consistent performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance, implement changes when required.
- Perform database tuning and optimization.
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
- Develop and maintain replication routines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions.
- Create and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, for at least 3 years, with a strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
- Proficiency in Oracle database management.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Oracle Golden Gate for data replication and integration.
- Knowledge of AWS and cloud-based database management.
- Familiarity with the telecom industry, particularly mobile networks.
