Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on OCI. This role requires deep technical expertise in Oracle Cloud services and the ability to architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design and implement enterprise-scale solutions using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
● Lead cloud migration strategies from on-premises or other cloud platforms to OCI.
● Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, best practices, and documentation.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop high-level designs, and ensure alignment with business goals.
● Evaluate and recommend OCI services for infrastructure, networking, security, and data management.
● Implement and oversee disaster recovery, backup, and security solutions in OCI.
● Optimize OCI resource usage to control costs and improve performance.
● Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
● Support DevOps teams with CI/CD pipeline integration on OCI.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
● Minimum 5 years of experience in architecting and managing solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
● Strong understanding of OCI core services: Compute, Networking, Storage, Load Balancers, IAM, etc.
● Proven experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.
● Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
● Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and OCI Container Engine.
● Familiarity with Oracle databases, Autonomous DB, and Exadata on OCI is a plus.
● Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
● OCI Architect Certification is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
