Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Oracle APEX Developer to lead the modernization of our legacy systems. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for migrating our existing Oracle Forms 10g applications into modern, responsive Oracle APEX screens. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Oracle database technologies (SQL, PL/SQL) and a strong eye for user interface design, with the ability to conceptualize and build complex UI features from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

Legacy Migration: Lead the end-to-end migration of existing Oracle Forms 10g screens and business logic to Oracle APEX.
UI/UX & Wireframing: Design and build wireframes to map legacy interfaces to modern web standards. Develop complex, user-friendly UI features within the APEX environment.
Database Development: Write, tune, and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL code (packages, procedures, functions, and triggers) to support the new APEX applications.
System Integration & Testing: Ensure seamless integration between the database backend and the APEX frontend, maintaining data integrity and system performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand legacy workflows and ensure the new applications meet current business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Oracle APEX: Proven hands-on experience developing applications using Oracle APEX (Application Express).
Oracle Forms: Direct experience with Oracle Forms 10g and a strong understanding of how to transition legacy forms logic to web-based frameworks.
Database Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
UI/UX Design: Demonstrated ability to create wireframes, mockups, and complex UI designs.
Web Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize and enhance APEX interfaces beyond standard templates.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to reverse-engineer legacy code and translate it into optimized, modern solutions.

Skills Required

Proven hands-on experience developing applications using Oracle APEX (Application Express).
Direct experience with Oracle Forms 10g and transitioning legacy forms logic to web-based frameworks.
Expert-level proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers).
