As an Optima Solutions Logistics & Controlling Coordinator, you will help supply materials to the main sites of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), including all aspects of material planning to ensure their availability and meet customer production requirements.
You will report to Optima Solutions Site Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Work in a large process team, coordinating logistics and supply chain activities and working with other members of the paint shop service team.
Work with the customer to assess projected demand, long-term forecasting and coordinate the material needs for all products supplied to the customer.
Ensure that the customer is always able to fulfil their manufacturing plan with material on site
Help manage stock levels and ensure no build-up of obsolete material
Help coordinate material run-outs and organise new material introductions.
Report monthly consumptions and cost per unit trends, actual vs planned usages, usage per model.
Understand the relationship of historical builds to future builds.
Support invoicing and the tracking of material invoicing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent education.
Experience in materials planning.
Proficiency in SAP or Oracle and validated with a focus on Excel (can write advanced macros).
Intermediated English.
