As an optical test and automation engineer you will contribute to the development of coherent pluggable modules to further enrich Optical Networks portfolio https://www.nokia.com/optical-networks/
You will take responsibility for the early phase optical testing of the module, involved from design through validation and production deployment.
As a member of our pluggable design team, you’ll be working alongside other experienced and multidisciplinary teams with strong records of delivering innovative products contributing in the supply chain for the increasing AI deployments worldwide and telco providers.
The optical test and automation engineer will be responsible for the definition and implementation of automated test used in early bring-up phases and in production. This requires interfacing with Optical Engineers, FW Engineers, HW Engineers and manufacturers to ensure test coverage of the main subsystems of the modules and adhesion to requirements.
This also involves ownership of technical documentation; test reporting and the ability to interact with different stakeholders across various time zones.

Education: MS in Electronic/Optical/Photonic/SW Engineering

Availability to travel across Europe and Far East Asia when needed
