We are looking for an Optical expert to join our team. The team is responsible for research and development, test, and qualification of image quality and hardware parts for delivering superior camera products.
Job SummaryAs an Optical Engineer you will search the solutions of non-trivial issues, work in the RnD lab and provide optical engineering support for lens modules and illumination sub-systems at design, analysis, and testing stages.
Responsibilities- Specify, design, select, and qualify optical elements for camera module
- Evaluate impact on the image quality of the camera from optical elements
- Explore and develop new metrology for complete evaluation of camera image performance
- Perform analysis and testing of illumination systems
- Collaborate with the hardware team to develop illumination sub-systems
- BS, MS or Ph.D. in Optical Sciences, Optical Physics or related field
- Hands-on skills for basic optical design tools such as Zemax or Speos (preferred), LightTools, ASAP, or Code V
- Good understanding of basic optical components: imaging optics, lightguides, and illumination optics
- Ability to easily learn new methods of optical designing
- Good written and spoken English
- Experience in Matlab

Skills Required
