This position is essential to drive operational excellence and will require a team approach to be successful.
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manages the operation's project(s) and serves a liaison between Project Management, Materials, Quality, Engineering, and Operations
  • Prepares project execution plans including identifying technical and business resources required. Ensures new part integration is conducted on time to meet scheduled delivery dates
  • Reviews status of programs including budgeted cost, schedule adherence, and status reports
  • Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to Operations team


Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and 6 years experience in manufacturing
  • Must be able to interpret component drawings focusing on weld and machining
  • Familiar with basic GD&T concepts
  • Great communication skills


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • BS degree, preferably in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of both Machining and Welding processes.
  • Strong shop knowledge of equipment, capabilities and ability to input suggestions.
  • Work within the Aiken organization for scheduling concurrence.
  • Have great working relationships with Program Leadership across multiple sites providing reports, feedback and sharing consistent information across the Enterprise.
  • Work closely with Aiken Manufacturing, Materials and Quality for meeting Delivery dates to our Customers.


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $102200 - $173700
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
