The position will work collaboratively with employees and the management team to implement operational improvements that focus on improving quality, productivity, labor, and cost-saving efficiencies. They ensure that initiatives are being developed and implemented consistently across the site for continually improving key performance indicators. They shall be a change agent, never satisfied with the status quo. They initiate action, overcome obstacles, make progress and drive a process or project from start to finish as an individual or within a team to achieve acceptable results.

• Map warehouse facility with CAD Software.
• Support utilization of Labor Management System.
• Work with site teams to identify current processes and process breakdowns.
• Assist in rollout of new technological and process solutions within the warehouse operational environment.
• Use machines, devices, tools, transport equipment, and other means correctly.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly.
• Use safety devices correctly.
• Propose solutions to improve the safety of working conditions.
• Identify and collaborate with multi-functional teams within the value stream while influencing without authority.
• Identify, initiate, and facilitate continuous improvements, lean activities, and initiatives, such as 6S, Root Cause Problem Solving, Kaizen, and visual management.
• Achieve objectives through fact-based and KPI-driven decisions.
• Implement the most cost and time-efficient techniques for dealing with challenges as they arise.
• Ensure thorough and timely root cause analysis and implement mitigation and solution actions eliminating recurrence in operations.
• Facilitate standardization of processes and continuous improvement of training materials.
• Assist in operational deployment of the Baxter Operating System (BOS).
• Directly support the UCAN Logistics Network with associated key functions in the identification and implementation of continuous improvements that generate Margin Improvement Projects (MIPs).
• Coordinate the training and qualification of staff and distribution, contributing to the continuous improvement of warehouse and distribution processes.
• Ensure products are provided to customers on time so that product quality, yield, operating costs, and process efficiencies are met.

• B.S in Engineering preferred – Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with lean concepts and tools. Digital literacy (MS Office, MS Windows, Email, ERP).
• Familiar with and experience in lean fundamentals – Lean Basics, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, Standard Work, Problem Solving, Handling for Daily Improvement (MDI), etc.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures and regulations. Excellent communication skills within all organizational levels (internal and external)

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $68,000 - $93,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
