- Operate the slitter to support both Grid, Metal Ceilings, and engineering seeds:
- Operate Forklift in accordance with Plant rules
- Using the crane to unload trucks and load coils onto the slitter
- Perform setups for knives and over/under arms accurately and in a timely fashion
- Perform QC checks on all in coming full coils, and slit coils
- Emptying slitter scrap containers
- Safely unload coils from slitter onto skids or racks
- Help in other areas of the plant if the slitter is down for repair or not scheduled to run.
- Complete 5S tasks throughout the slitter area

- This position requires the ability to self-manage time, prioritize orders, and pay close attention to detail.
- The position requires the employee to lift and move coils with an overhead crane. The candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs and be on their feet for 8 hours straight.
- At Least 1-2 years experience in a factory setting, operating slitter machinery.
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to be forklift certified
