Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Manager in Columbus, Ohio and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Manage software advisory and implementation services in connection with information technology projects to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization in relation to information technology projects, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors, and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers as key clients. Lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process and contribute to the advancement of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 80% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.
  • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.

Candidate must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Utilizing Agile Methodologies to manage software advisory and implementation services for clients in the Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) industries including client solutioning and time sensitive leadership reports;
  • Participating in all phases of Agile and Waterfall project delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for designing, developing, testing, and implementing complex insurance applications for enterprise-level clients;
  • Participating in aspects of the project responsibilities of crossfunctional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks utilizing Agile Methodology and supporting project Management tools including JIRA, JAMA, and Kanban;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs creating Epics and Story Cards through use of JIRA, JAMA and Agile Methodologies;
  • Setting up Continuous Build (CB), Continuous Integration (CI), and source code management to achieve fully automated CI, or Continuous Delivery (CD), using Python, Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Service Now, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and SDK;
  • Utilizing AngularJS 1,2,4,6, ReactJS, Java Spring, Guidewire Edge Framework, and Guidewire Digital Portals to participate in the design and development of project solutions;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state or to-be systems, processes, and environments leveraging Service Now, AWS Cloudwatch, AppDynamics, OPSRamp, LogRocket, and Guidewire Profiler Tools;
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments utilizing MS Visio, Draw.IO, Google Workspace, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
