Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Technical Integrator supporting International Apache (IA) within the Apache Attack Helicopter Project Management Office (AAH-PMO) based in the Huntsville, AL area. Candidates should have excellent program management, organizational, and communication skills with experience in Foreign Military Sales. An ideal candidate should have experience with Army Acquisition, be highly motivated, a self-starter, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as a technical support for the AH-64D/E aircraft for IA.
  • Assess and derive Customer-Country unique helicopter product verification requirements
  • Support the project and engineering leads to obtain and manage airworthiness status and data for FMS customer airworthiness needs.
  • Collaborate with Prime Contractors' program and technical leads and other personnel to ensure the integration technical work tasks are identified, defined, scheduled, resourced, and executed
  • Coordinate technical positions with Airworthiness and PM Apache; assist the FMS customer in securing airworthiness certifications for desired, changed, and new configurations.
  • Provide overall direction and coordination of a multi-disciplined, functional Integrated Product Team (IPT), consisting of Government and Contractor personnel
  • Brief and / or prepare briefings for Senior Level Officers
  • Prepare Acquisition Strategies / Plans (Contractual Documentation / Performance Work Statements/Product Description Documents/Schedules), Contracting and Procurement Strategies / Plans (Contract Vehicles/LOA Line Management)
  • Provide support in determining the overall strategy for FMS customer requirements and communicating the resulting strategy to all relevant stakeholders
  • Perform technical assessments of contract and case deliverables and provide recommendations for approval/disapproval, to include assisting with approval/disapproval memos for associated deliverables
  • Review and analyze case requirements and information, provide input into strategy options, researching available capabilities, documenting strategy decisions, and developing briefings and other material necessary to communicate the strategy
  • Support management of contract execution to ensure customer technical requirements are met within cost and schedule.
  • Review Contract Data Items and Technical Proposals to ensure compliance with Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Prepare and produce internal and external communications including white papers, briefings, milestone decision reviews, and other special reports
  • Manage, analyze, document, and track project cost, schedule, performance, and risks
  • Plan, advise, coordinate, execute, communicate, and control PM managed lines on FMS cases through all phases of the case life cycle and assist the APM/PM with program schedule development
  • Prepare and execute case management plans to ensure the case objectives are achieved
  • Plan and execute the PM managed lines and service of their FMS cases, including schedule, cost, quality performance and assist with program risk assessments and mitigations
  • Integrate and synchronize supporting functions (obsolescence, logistics, SRD, PM Apache SME, etc.) for their assigned case lines
  • Interface with, and brief, customer-chain (e.g., SAMD, USASAC, DASA-DE&C, DSCA, State Dept., Embassy, and Customer-Country) representatives
  • Provide technical and subject matter expertise advice and recommendations as requested
  • Travel is estimated at 25%



Job Requirements

Education and General Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree is desired and a minimum of 5 years' project management experience (an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be used in lieu of degree).
  • Knowledge of Apache AH-64 attack helicopters and their systems, subsystems, and components
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required.
