Job Description
FIS Management Services, LLC. seeks System Support Analyst Specialist/Senior Technology Engineer in Cincinnati, OH to work directly with an onshore/offshore IT support team responsible for operational performance of critical financial and corporate systems including IBM DataStage (version 11.5, 11.7), IBI WebFocus, Oracle, SQL Server and DB2 databases. Provide 24x7 on-call support for all assigned production-related systems and perform L2/3 analysis and engage directly with IT organizations (including, Development, Infrastructure and Database teams) to provide root cause, recommendations and resolution planning. Provide Level 2/3 support and serve as LOB point of contact responsible for daily and month-end billing systems with relation to DataStage. Support operational health and monitoring of production environment of corporate systems and provide short-term and long-term solutions for issues that arise. Support organizational KPI metrics for MTTR, Problem, Incident, Service Requests ticketing and quality assurance. Support production escalations and manage issue through resolution to stabilize operational environment(s). Communicate and train employees on any updates or changes in policies & procedures.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: utilizing ServiceNow and other ticketing systems; working with data integration tools including IBM DataStage, Data Warehousing, and ETL; analyzing source related issues and performance tuning using SQL and PL/SQL; utilizing reporting tools including WebFocus; utilizing scripting languages including Unix OS; and utilizing development frameworks and methodologies including ITIL and Agile. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience in the above-listed areas. Telecommuting and/ or working from home is permissible.
