About the Role
We are looking for a senior product manager who is passionate about building differentiated, market-leading paid premium digital products that improve people's daily lives.
As a senior product manager for premium features, you will define and build a cohesive bundle of consumer-focused features that users are willing to pay for and enhance the Mail Plus value proposition. With the support of the team, you will own the strategy, roadmap prioritization, and execution for these features and drive launches and decisions quickly in a highly collaborative environment.
Detail on what you'll do:
  • Own the premium Yahoo Mail feature roadmap, including user research, discovery, ideation, data-backed prioritization, design, requirements definition, through to testing and launch
  • Work closely with other Mail product colleagues, data science, UXR, marketing, design, engineering, and leadership teams to identify and prioritize new premium opportunities and improvements that drive paid subscriptions and engagement. Build, test, and launch these features and refine them based on user feedback
  • Leverage data to drive decisionmaking, manage tradeoffs, and develop business cases
  • Align and energize key stakeholders, team members, and colleagues across Yahoo to position your product for success and win any support required to successfully execute
  • Work on a daily basis with the design and front-end engineering teams as well as convey platform needs and functionality
  • Contribute your unique perspective to a diverse, learning-motivated Yahoo Mail business and product team to drive growth

What it takes to succeed
  • 4+ years of experience in consumer digital product management with track record of managing a product feature from concept to launch
  • You are passionate about paid digital consumer products, developing truly differentiated features worth paying for, and taking user feedback to build a market-leading value proposition
  • You're comfortable running lots of experiments, iterating, and making decisions quickly
  • You can develop highly strategic longer-term plans and frameworks as well as manage tactical requirements to drive new initiatives to launch
  • You're comfortable communicating, coordinating, and aligning with stakeholders (both business and technical) across different functional/product teams

If hired for this position in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $105,375.00 - $175,625.00. The compensation may vary depending on your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include additional incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, plus equity incentives. Yahoo provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, retirement, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program.
