Treasury Management is a $500M P&L with 30%+ ROE providing payables, receivables, and liquidity products used by Capital One’s Commercial and Small business clients. We are building out state of the art Treasury management/ Payment capabilities. As part of the newly approved strategy we received more than $100M of funding for new/improved products.
As a Sr. Director, Head of Quality Management within Treasury Management at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the company. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. You will take on important and exciting responsibility from day one, working with key stakeholders across the company. This specific role will engage our Treasury Management teams across the value chain (product, sales, operations, analytics, and technology), to drive our project planning and prioritization processes. In this role, you will work closely with change owners to ensure organizational change management needs are assessed and addressed for all projects. As an owner of our prioritization and planning processes, you will drive projects to improve and streamline our planning process, develop value chain capacity management tools and processes, and provide enhanced visibility into Treasury Management’s change management efforts.
General Responsibilities:
Manage and lead Treasury Management planning and change governance processes and forums
Be a trusted change advisor to business partners to understand complex problems and change management needs
Drive top down leadership alignment of priorities with identification of resource needs
Educate and gain buy-in from stakeholders concerning changes to planning and prioritization processes to drive improvements and deeper engagement
Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports.
Leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure projects and processes deliver on intent
Partner cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery and process outcomes
Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts
Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.
Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 5 Years of Project Management experience
At least 3 Years of People Management experience
At least 3 Years of Quality Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters / MBA degree
At least 8 Years of Project Management experience
At least 5 Years of People Management experience
At least 5 Years of Quality Management experience
At least 2 Years of Treasury Management experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
