About the Role

Windstream is looking for an IT Cyber Security professional to join our team. A core function of this position is to interact with multiple teams and support multiple tools and processes related to Data Governance, Risk, Compliance, and associated projects.

Job functions:

• Serves as a technical resource for cyber security development and implementation of projects
• Collaborate to define cyber security standards and develop supporting organizational policies.
• Perform security and compliance assessments on new and existing systems, processes, technology.
• Support vendor due-diligence process and help to define overall 3rd party risk management efforts.
• Work with various business units to ensure controls are adequate, appropriate, and effective.
• Support internal and external audit process for relevant compliance reviews including PCI-DSS, SOX, GDPR.
• Perform business impact analysis and assist with development of IT/InfoSec risk register.
• Interface with IT and business partners to provide guidance and support.
• Perform periodic IT General Control gap assessments to validate compliance on an ongoing basis.
• Stay up to date and informed on developing regulatory concerns and changing IT and information security trends.
• Periodically work off hours to support project schedules or system support.
• Adheres to all Windstream and IT policies and procedures
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

College degree in a Technical or related field and 3-5 years professional level experience with 0-1-year supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 7+ years professional level related technical experience with 0-1 year supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Technical experience required.
