FP1 Strategies, a political consulting firm based in Arlington, VA, is looking for a SharePoint Administrator to join its growing team.

The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the installation and configuration of Microsoft SharePoint collaboration and content management platform. The SharePoint Administrator will report to the IT Director. Duties will include the creation, configuring, and management of permissions on all corporate SharePoint sites. This roll will also be responsible for managing content and training and supporting end-users on SharePoint usage, as well as manage sharing settings within the organization.

Requirements

FP1 is seeking a full-time SharePoint Administrator who will build a SharePoint environment from the ground up. Once SharePoint is up and running, they will be responsible for the permissions and all functionally in the SharePoint environment. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set and have experience with SharePoint interactive environment. The ideal candidate will also have equal parts as developer, database administrator, infrastructure engineer, security administrator, graphic designer, and a smiling face of support who thrives in an ever-changing environment where no 2 days are alike.

Additional qualifications would include:

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Knowledge of Windows based video servers, LTO backup systems, Cloudberry, Dropbox, One Drive, Google Docs, and Box
• Knowledge of Apple computers, MacOS, and mobile device administration and management.

Specifically, the SharePoint Administrator's responsibilities include:

• Develop a fully manage SharePoint site including team and department sites
• In house expert of all SharePoint capabilities
• Manage SharePoint tenant data access/permissions settings company wide as well as end-user settings
• Project Management
• Identify, train and work with superusers in each department to develop processes
• Train all users on how to properly use SharePoint
• Write and manage policies and permissions
• Set up alerts, enforce policies, identify and resolve violations
• Design and implement a backup and recovery plan
• Monitor overall health and functionality
• Regularly audit the SharePoint environment, content, and storage
• Check for patches and updates.
• Regularly update pages and create new functionally
• Always be improving and evolving
