Senior Systems Administrator
Summary
The Big Fish Central Tech Corporate IT Team is growing and looking to add a highly motivated Senior Admin. This position will delivery on both day-to-day service requests and project implementation that align with our Global initiatives. The right candidate will have in-depth experience supporting core IT services on-perm and in the cloud and thrive working in a fast paced, customer orientated environment.
Responsibilities

  • High level administration and troubleshooting experience in O365, Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online and on Prem, Google Workspace, Atlassian, Okta, Windows Server 2008-2019, and VMWare. Experience with enterprise configuration, licensing, data recovery and user account management on those SaaS and platforms
  • Work individually or as part of a team to deploy services and/or applications to our internal users and external partners
  • Work on incident response to resolve outages of services owned by the Corporate IT team
  • Support day-to-day service requests and escalations from the Service Desk team
  • Track project and service requests within our ticketing system and create technical knowledge base articles for new services


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of systems admin experience in an IT operation or DevSecOps role
  • Deep understanding of core IT services both in the cloud and on-perm
  • Experience deploying and supporting applications and services to end-users
  • Understanding and ability to troubleshoot basic networking issues including Public and Private DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • Demonstrate superior customer service skills
  • Ability to demonstrate fluency of PowerShell and/or Python to automate tasks
  • Experience using a ticketing system to track and document work
  • Previous experience working within a change management environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous role managing a hybrid Exchange environment including mail filtering, DMARC, message tracking, and email recovery
  • Experience managing user access, services, and projects in GCP
  • Understanding of backups including their configuration and recovery
  • Experience supporting financial systems
  • Applicable Cloud Certifications in Google, Azure, or AWS
