PURPOSE: Serve as a primary IT liaison to North America leadership for Americas Welding to ensure business and IT project alignment. Collaborate with business partners and IT development teams to identify IT solution opportunities, define business priorities, and clarify requirements. Provide oversight on IT projects as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Interacts with multiple business departments and respective leadership across all functional areas to understand the company's priorities and ensure that the work is planned and accomplished by IT teams in support of the company's goals.
• Pro-actively identifies ways in which IT may assist customers to achieve success. Meets regularly with business stakeholders to solve complex problems through application of systems technology.
• Responsible for ensuring that business requirements are properly defined and prioritized.
• Responsible for coordinating IT resources to scope projects (time and cost estimates). Can serve as a project manager for IT projects, including identifying and engaging proper IT teams necessary and managing project budgets, expenses, plans and resources. Ensures projects are staying on track and completed within the established time frames.
• Collaborates with international IT Business Partner peers to perpetuate IT value drivers globally.
• Serves as point of escalation for business to remove IT obstacles to fulfill business needs, with a keen focus on supporting business objectives.
• Comfortable navigating IT and company organizational structure to work with leadership to clear project roadblock and ensure projects are successful.
• Collaborates with business to identify opportunities to better align business processes and technologies to Lincoln Business System standards and best practices.
• Advises business partners on IT administrative and security policies and procedures.
• Maintains awareness of technological and business trends to better service customer needs.
• Works as a member of the IT management team to recommend successful strategies for IT; to select and monitor consultants, contractors and other suppliers of goods and services; to continually assess the value of all IT spend.
• Conducts supporting HR administrative responsibilities. Develops training plans for employees based on the skills matrix, career development, projects and the direction of Lincoln Electric.
• Advises business in preparing capital appropriation requests for larger IT projects and obtaining management approval.
• Provides leadership and guidance to managers, supervisors and analysts as needed.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
• 7-10 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience includes: Previous experience in a IT organization developing, implementing, and supporting applications, systems and/or technology; exposure to IT infrastructure, networking and IT Security; exposure to plant floor and engineering systems; installation/enforcement of IT policy and standards; and multiple concurrent project management.
• Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, Epicor and MES/shop floor systems in a manufacturing company a plus.
