This role is responsible for planning, developing strategies around content creation and managing communication and events for employee engagement, culture, and recognition as part of our newly formed Discover Technology Academy.
Responsibilities
- Develops and oversees programs that communicate the company's strategic priorities to employees. Drives employee understanding of the company's strategies, standards, priorities, and values.
- Develops programs to inform, engage, and motivate employees. Increases employee engagement efforts to influence thinking, drive behavior changes, and enhance company culture.
- Manages internal rotational programs, including effort for recruitment, placement, management, and development.
- Manages recognition ceremonies to motivate employees. Leads a team to identify improvement opportunities and enhance experiences.
- Manages a team responsible for internal communication initiatives and events.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in people management
- 8+ years of experience in Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, or related field
- In lieu of a degree, 12+ years of experience in Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, or related experience, including people management
Preferred Qualifications
