Senior Cybersecurity Information System Security Manager (ISSM)Company:The Boeing CompanyJob ID:00000290799Date Posted:2021-12-15-08:00Location:USA - Huntington Beach, CAJob Description Qualifications: The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to join the team in Huntington Beach, CA.The selected candidate will act as the portfolio manager for special programs in both Huntington Beach and Seal Beach.Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to strategize, plan, design, develop and verify highly-complex security solutions to meet enterprise needs
  • Provides strategic guidance and consultation on enterprise execution of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), security compliance and monitoring, the delivery of technical reports/briefings, root cause analysis and resolution and information security policy, standards, guidelines and procedure development/implementation
  • Perform security analysis of operational and development environments, threats, vulnerabilities and internal interfaces to define and assess compliance with accepted industry and government standards
  • Facilitates development of Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), Interconnection Security Agreements (ISA), Risk Acceptance Letters (RAL) and support Continuous Monitoring (CONMON)
  • Oversees configuration management of assigned systems; auditing systems to ensure security posture integrity
  • Conduct risk assessments and investigations, execute appropriate risk mitigations, and oversee incident response activities
  • Conducts periodic hardware/software inventory assessments
  • Interfaces with the appropriate government customers, suppliers, and company personnel to implement protective mechanisms and to ensure understanding of and compliance with cybersecurity requirements

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
  • Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 6 years
  • Cu rrently hold certification in good standing to satisfy IAM Level III (CISSP, GSLC or CISM)
  • 5+ years of experience in utilizing security relevant tools, systems, and applications in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include: NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS
  • 5+ years of experience as an information system security officer (ISSO) or information system security manager (ISSM) supporting classified programs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
  • Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g. DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, and/or NIST SP 800 series
  • 5+ years of experience in assessing and documenting test or analysis data to show cybersecurity compliance

Typical Education & Experience: Typically 14 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
