Job Description:

• Perform personnel security clearance coordination and processing activities
• Strong knowledge of personnel security disciplines that allows for direct interaction with customer personnel security representatives
• Proficient in personnel security databases that are utilized by both the DoD and IC (i.e. DISS)
• Manage and generate reports from internal personnel security databases (i.e. SIMS)
• Generates/maintains monthly personnel security metrics charts
• Occasionally assist with classified courier/visitor escorting and document destruction duties
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products in order to efficiently support the program security team
• Must have excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy
• Verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Prepare and maintain continuity books and procedures for multiple security functions
• Must possess excellent people skills and the ability to perform in high stress environments
• Assist Program Security Officers with generating and presenting program security related material as needed

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Possession or in pursuit of a 2-year college degree
• 4+ years' experience and oversight in multiple security disciplines, to include Personnel Security for Special Access Programs (SAPs)
