SECURITY OPERATIONS ANALYST

One of The Select Group's top clients is looking for a Security Operations Analyst to join their team in a remote fashion. The ideal candidate will over 5 years working in the security space, focusing on endpoint protection and response. This includes having a strong understanding of the Endpoint response technology they use, Carbon Black. Other highlights would include understanding SIEM technology, IDS, email security, and network security. If this sounds like you, please apply

SECURITY OPERATIONS ANALYST

• 5+ years of experience in Sec Ops
• Understand Endpoint response technology (EDR): Carbon Black is the required tool here.
• Understand SIEM technology and how to use it.
• Understand and perform IDS, Email Security, and NETWORK Security. Be able to use the tools proficiently to performs tasks.

SECURITY OPERATIONS ANALYST

• Perform endpoint protection and response
• Monitor and support the users. (Ex: Sometimes they block and if an engineer is being blocked they need to tweak the policy and allow it to workWould have to tweak the risks and implications.)
• Implementing new technology in those areas or upgrading lifecycle products.
• Take part in upgrades on these security tools.
• Understand maintenance and operational aspects of the security technologies.
