BASIC PURPOSE : SAP Technology Manager, will be responsible for leading and managing the SAP BASIS and Security teams that support the SAP technologies in the Love's companies. The candidate will have prior knowledge of SAP BASIS and Security and will be responsible for the overall performance of SAP technology stack.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop project plans as necessary for upgrades, enhancements and new installations
• Create and Execute Yearly Roadmaps in the Basis and Security areas.
• Responsible for the execution of projects on-time and on-budget for related projects.
• Lead maturity of SAP system management and implementation in AWS and SAP BTP clouds.
• Participate in definition and refinement of Love's Cloud Strategy
• Co-develop yearly Goals with team supervisors based on the overarching goals set by the Company.
• Monitor team individual's performance and provide timely feedback to improve individual's performance
• Regular one-on-one sessions. Mid-year and Yearly reviews with team leads to ensure overall team individual success.
• Ensure adequate on-call support exists and guides that on-call individual can use to execute procedures in case issues arise outside normal working hours.
• Work with the Architects to layout strategy and execute the strategy with the induvial team members.
• Collaboratively work with IT Functional and Business leads to establish beast practices in SAP.
• Communicate project status to upper management and provide insight on any current and upcoming issues.
• Escalate issues to key management and stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business with MIS or technology related degree (C.S.).
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience managing BASIS and/or Security teams
  • Experience with full life-cycle implementations.
  • Experience in managing SAP system in AWS or migrating to AWS.
  • Work closely with the other Infrastructure team members to communicate clear requirements on what is required for BASIS from an infrastructure perspective.

  • Ability to develop detailed technical design documents based on requirements
  • Ability to coordinate small developmental activities with a small team of developers
  • Extensive experience in Software development methodologies
• Typical Physical Demands:
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
