Referral Network Representative (RNR) - Sacramento, CA
Job description
IQVIA is looking for a high performing, results-oriented sales representative with a track record of success to join our team as a Referral Network Representative (RNR). The Referral Network Representative will engage Health Care Providers (HCPs) in face-to-face discussions to educate non-prescribing physicians in identifying and appropriately treating or referring patients for treatment of their eye disease. The RNR achieves this by developing and maintaining relationships with HCPs and educating them about product features, benefits, safety profile and treatment options. The RNR utilizes approved tools and resources for physician education, product promotion and maintains a competent level of product, territory and customer activity.
Responsibilities:
- Educate targeted physicians (endocrinologists, ophthalmologists etc.) in eye disease and the importance of appropriate diagnosis and benefits of our client's product.
- Effectively profile accounts and prescribers to understand referral networks in their geography
- Cultivate long-term relationships with healthcare providers and HCPs by thoroughly understanding and addressing stakeholder sentiments.
- Communicate territory activity in an accurate and timely manner as directed by management
- Coordinate and collaborate closely with the client representatives, managers and other appropriate functional teams in their geographic territory to ensure pull-through of appropriately identified patients
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as requested by the Company
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- 4 year degree required, graduate business or healthcare related degree a plus
- 3+ years pharma/account management selling experience required
- Buy-and-bill experience with documented success and/or biologic/infusion experience preferred
- Sales experience in Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, and/or rare/specialty disease states preferred; experience working with institutions and integrated delivery networks preferred
- Requires approximately 80% travel (may vary by territory), including some overnight and weekend commitments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Professional, proactive demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
