Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

The Physical Therapy Assistant should be knowledgeable in carrying out individualized plans of care as well as coaching in individual and group settings. The candidate must be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both in oral and written form. A successful incumbent must possess initiative, a strong commitment to quality, and a willingness to grow in his/her field through continued education. The Physical Therapy Assistant must have a high school diploma, be CPR-certified, hold a C.N.A. license (we will train, if needed), and have hands-on experience treating adults with disabilities. A successful new team member will be professional, enthusiastic, share a warm and personable demeanor, adhere to privacy and confidentiality standards, and have the ability be able to create a fun, safe, and affective environment for success.
