Program Security Administrator I
Job Description
As a Program Security Administrator I, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of security control processes in accordance with established security plans and federal agency guidelines and policies, including onboarding for associates and third-party contractors. You will monitor and oversee execution of initial onboarding and ongoing security training processes for physical security, personnel security, incident handling, security awareness and other assigned program security requirements. You will collaborate with system or solution owners to assess security impacts of changes, manage and control changes and update and maintain security plan documentation. You will build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert resource and consultative advisor on program security matters. You will establish and maintain a knowledge base of security best practices, policies and procedures for assigned federal program(s). You will research and evaluate new or enhanced security processes or practices to drive operational efficiency, increase person or program compliance and minimize security risks. You will conduct regular audits to identify opportunities for process and program improvement and recommend corrective actions. You will review and submit applications for security clearances and other federal documentation. You will monitor and manage physical security controls for associates, vendors and visitors.
Working Environment
Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered
This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will not offer relocation assistance to the specified location. #LI-Hybrid

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 1 year project/program management work experience
- At least 4 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Health Care, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
Expectations
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
