Personnel Security Specialist, Senior
The Challenge:

We're looking for a systems administrator to assist and coordinate with a government client to support personnel security activities, including data, personnel, and physical security: someone who can work effectively with technical staff, customer leadership, and other security staff members.

As a systems administrator on our project, you'll maintain personnel security files and work in security databases to update information on employees and assist with the processing of personnel security clearances under the direction of the client. You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamwork through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs as well as provide training brown bags to technical staff and customer leadership to raise their awareness and comprehension of security processes and procedures. You Have:

-Experience with personnel security standards and procedures, including Governing Eligibility for Access to Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) and the Special Access Program (SAP)

-Knowledge of the fundamental aspects of federal government security procedures

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent time management skills

-Bachelor's degree

-Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Program Certification

-Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
