Operations Support Engineer, Senior
The Challenge:
Are you looking for an opportunity to build on your existing sof tware integration or systems administration experience while learning Amazon and Micro sof t cloud te chn ologies? Joining our team as a lead operational support engineer will offer you the opportunity to continue to expand your engineering skills as you lead a team in the deployment, integration, and configuration of custom solutions, COTS, GOTS, and FOSS in multiple cloud environments. You will have the opportunity to lead the implementation of innovative te chn ical solutions supporting platforms that enable a large community of application developers across a wide range of missions.
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with Linux / Unix administration
- Experience leading teams in the delivery of a solution or services
- Experience integrating complex sof tware solutions that leverage a wide range of te chn ologies, tools, and services or installing and configuring sof tware solutions as a systems administrator
- Experience installing, configuring, and integrating custom solutions, COTS, GOTS, and FOSS into a larger collection of services and systems
- TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire
Nice If You Have:
- Experience supporting operational systems within the agency or intelligence community ( IC ) using tools, including ServiceNow
- Knowledge of cloud te chn ologies, including Amazon Web Services ( AWS )
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS / SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
